Our mission is to empower families with a comprehensive, high-quality, and engaging educational experience that supports both academic excellence and whole-child development. We provide structured curriculum, parent training, student engagement opportunities, and a strong community to make learning more effective and fulfilling.
Director of Education
Dr. Maribel McAdory is a seasoned educator and instructional leader with over 27 years of experience in public education. She has served as an elementary school principal, assistant principal, and classroom teacher, retiring from the school system after nearly three decades of service. As Mindsprout’s Director of Education, she oversees all curriculum development, instructional design, and training for both educators and families, ensuring everything we offer is grounded in best practice and backed by real classroom experience.
Dr. McAdory holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, with research focused on improving student outcomes through data-informed instruction, targeted interventions, and collaborative school cultures. She is certified in teaching, educational administration, English language learners (ELL), and brings deep expertise in RTI, MTSS, SEL, ELL, and Special Education. Her signature strengths include mentoring educators for professional and student growth, conducting meaningful data analysis, and designing systems that support student engagement, motivation, and success for all learners.
As an elementary principal, Dr. McAdory facilitated schoolwide success through high-quality instruction, rich learning experiences, and a strong culture of collaboration and collective efficacy. Through intentional coaching, observations, and ongoing professional development, she consistently supported teachers in increasing student engagement and achievement across diverse student groups. She is especially passionate about advocating for families in their pursuit of quality education and helping them understand and navigate the systems that shape their children’s learning.
At the heart of her work is a simple belief: all students can learn, but not all students learn in the same way or at the same pace. This philosophy guides the way she shapes Mindsprout’s programs—prioritizing flexibility, responsiveness, and individual learning needs.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dr. McAdory is a proud mother and grandmother, a role she considers her most important. In retirement from traditional school settings, she treasures spending time with her grandchildren (and, naturally, the educator in her still comes out). She enjoys reading, creating artwork, photography, relaxing outdoors—especially near water—and traveling. Grounded in kindness and authenticity, she strives each day to be true to herself, to enjoy friends and family, and to help others in their quest for learning.
